'95 850 vs. '93 Audi 100 850 1995

A friend of mine is trying to decide between two European sedans to purchase. He's looking at a '95 850 GLT, 5-speed, 79k, and a '93 Audi 100S, auto, 112k. I've told him to go for the Volvo for its reliability; he's leaning towards the Audi because it has a V-6 engine. I can't recommend the 100 due to its questionable electrics. What do you think? I need tips.
