on a S70 only a reset by the dealer or special tool (expensive) can turn off the service light.

Alternatively U could unplug the bulb to the service reminder lamp from under the dash. Remove the lower panel under the steering wheel (1 torx screw holding it) and slide the entire panel out. Trace the right bulb holder and remove the bulb.
