Re: abs control unit replacement 850 1996

Hmmm... that's interesting. Maybe there is something in the replacement that has the potential to goof up the software. I've only removed my CU to get the part number and check connections. When I did so I did not see any switches or anything that could possibly effect "software". That leads me to wonder if the brakes need to be set a certian way before/after/during the replacement?

Can anyone comment on this one? I've got to do the same replacement soon too so it would be nice to know.

Andy, where did you get the new CU and, if I can ask, how much did you pay?
