Try Bridgestone "Lemans" S70 1998

Hi Ken,

Out of coincidence, I punctured a tire (OEM Michelin) by running it on a curb, and because of cost (Michelin OEM is $150.00) and quality (The Michelin gives me poor traction in the winter), I ended up with Bridgestone "Lemans" for only $45.00. After installation and tax it was $65.00 at a Bridgestone dealer.

So far I am very happy with it, quiet ride and great tire for the $.

The problem with the original Michelin MXV is that:

1. It is expensive $150.00

2. Wear fast: my car is only 23K and it is down to 60% worn.

3. Poor traction in the winter.

4. rated up to 160 mph, but who drives 160 mph in the U.S. anyway?

Besides the Lemans Tires are rated up to 120 mph, which is plenty for me.

Hope this helps your budget.

cn
