Air Box Cutting tool 850 1993

Hey

I have purchased a cone filter, and I need to remove the top of my airbox to install the cone filter. The place where I plug in the Mass Air Sensor and the top of the airbox is one peice, but I do not have a place to plug in my MAS once i remove the top off. I have bought another airbox top from the dealer, so Now I will cut the MAS adaptor off my old airbox top. My question is what tool is good for cutting the hard plastic? I could use a saw, but I do not want to do a sloppy job. Any Ideas?
