Re: abs control unit replacement 850 1996

1. My diagnosis also started with right rear wheel sensor errors. I inspected all the sensors, as well as the wiring, and found no problems, though the sensors were dirty. I have experimented with cleaning the contacts for the ABS CU and it's connectors. Since then, the error lights have stayed off for the most part, though they have lit once or twice. For me (like Scott) was a series of discussions with Volvo mechanics who said that the ABS CU was the root cause.

2. For Jim, no I am not selling the reservoir.
