How do you replace the bulbs that illuminate the temperature dials in the dashboard? V70-XC70 1999

Hello All,

I have a 1999 XC with dual climate control. In the middle of the dashboard above the radio are two temperature dials for setting the heat and a/c. One of the bulbs the illuminates the right dial (passenger side) has burned out.

How do you gain access to this bulb to replace it? Does any one know of a source that will provide pictures and details how to access this bulb so it can be replaced? I know how to remove the radio below the two dials (SC-815 radio), but I don't think that will provide the access I need.

Thanks to all who reply.

Hugh
