bumper covers and headlights question 850 94

Hello

I just bought a 1994 850 4dr 5speed 72K puff, only glitch is i have the big single headlight and squarer bumpers as on the wagon in the owners manual. My questions are why are there 2 different styles for the same years, and can i do a conversion on my car by replacing headlights and bumper covers?
