Driveshaft Carrier Bearing Questions V70-XC70 1998

Hello folks,

I've been thinking that my front end whine/howl is coming from the carrier bearing on the pass side driveshaft.

I did a quick search on FCP and IPD and found the following product pages:

http://www.fcpgroton.com/product-exec/product_id/14288/nm/1998_Volvo_XC70_AWD_Turbo_Axle_Assembly_Front_Right/category_id/103

http://www.ipdusa.com/version.asp?strPageHistory=category&numSearchStartRecord=0&strParents=128,374&P_ID=2205&CAT_ID=374&V_ID=7361

I can't tell from the pictures if the carrier bearing is included on either of the driveshafts.

Is this a standard bearing I can order at a local NAPA/Carquest/etc?

Dealer only?

Has anyone ever had one of these things fail on them? What does it sound like? feel like?
