interior light switch - I'm in the dark 850 1997

The switch for my interior light broke. It is the light at the front of the car between the front seats, on the roof by the windshield. Has anyone else had this problem (it is simply the plastic pivot point of the switch that broke and now it won't stay back on).

The dealer wants to sell me a whole new light unit. I only need the switch! Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
