Lubricating blower motor fan - squealing pig of a fan 850 1994

Has anyone tried lubricating a blower motor fan to prevent it from squealing? Mine's rather noisy, emitting a very high pitched squeal at almost all speeds, most times.

Would love to hear your experience. I am wondering if I should not just replace the whole fan motor.
