ABS pump 850 1997

Steely is correct about turning off the ABS light, all of the codes need to be cleared AND the car driven over 18mph - the system self tests, then if the light stays on the code will be stored again.
My 1995 had a pump CEL because the pump got drenched. After clearing the codes, the ABS light went out as soon as I got to 18mph because it all worked again.

In your case, get a new unit. You don't need to tell the P&P what the dealer cost is for a new one. But get the entire unit, including the ABS module; it is easier to remove that way.
