To Buy or Not To Buy S60 2001

I'd like to hear from anyone who has an S60, or knows of others who drive one. Test drove one, was favorably impressed, and am thinking of buying, but new models without record of repair and satified buyers are scary. (In the '80s I bought an X-Car first year out...an Olds Omega...Huge mistake!!) Any information will be helpful. There's not much in the forum on the S60. Currently driving excellent twelve and eleven year old 740s. Time for something new, but new always seems like such a gamble.

Will really appreciate opinions.
