Ryan,

I have a '98 V70. I had a remote starter installed last fall. The remote I have has 2 buttons. 1 button starts the car, the second button unlocks the doors. When I want to use the remote starter, I have to lock the car with the aftermarket remote. If I use the Volvo remote to lock the doors, the alarm goes off when I try t ostart it with the remote starter. I was told that the remote starter disarms the alarm system (but it leaves the doors locked until I push button #2). It works great but the 2 systems do not seem to be compatible in anyway.
