Belated update on rear wiper washer problem 850 1995

Just wanted to post an update about my problems with no windsheild washer fluid coming out of rear window assembly. Would have posted update long time ago, but wife just gave birth to our first child (wouldn't trade experience for the world, but yikes am I tired!)

I first tried using a very small guage wire to fish into the two openings in the rear assembly and did not have any success. I then started back tracking until I got to a point where I actually had flow of fluid. Turns out that the small valve (think I have heard references to it being called "check valve") that is located above the rear speaker in the rear pillar was faulty. I think it was something like a $5.00 part.

One piece of advice that I would give if you are experiencing this problem is to be carefull how much you try the washer if no fluid is coming out. I ended up blowing the hose off of the filter in the rear cargo hold and this caused a soggy trunk area.

Thanks to all who gave advice on this project.
