Sorry, Mr. M. My car has such a key gasket (under the "lip" above the license plate, to the right), but when I posted this previously, others were unable to locate it as well, I thought because they had V70 XCs. My car does have the third seat, but I can't really see that Volvo would modify the rear hatch in addition to installing the seat. Could be wrong. Also, my car ('01 T5) was built in February 2000, quite early. I have had our hatch lock get stuck several times (annoying); only once have I had the dealer take care of it. They lubed the heck out of the linkage inside the hatch. Other times, it has started working again when I screwed the lock plunger out a little bit. Good luck.
