Buying an 06 V70

Thinking of purchasing a 2006 v70 wagon (non-turbo) with around 22K on the odometer. I think it should still have the factory warranty until 50K or sometime in 2010. KBB values it at around 18K private party in excellent condition. I might try lower, say 16-17K. My wife and I are probably going to put 30-35K on it in the next year. Our other alternative is a Subaru Outback wagon. From the boards, it seems like an '06 V70 gets past a lot of the wrinkles seen earlier + it's not an AWD car. Assuming the vehicle history and maintenance records check out, we might do it.

Any thoughts appreciated. --Paul
