AHHH broke my windshield S40-V40 2001

I was just replacing the wiper blades on the car, my hand slipped after getting the old one off and the arm smashed back down on the windshield. It must have just hit it the wrong way, and it is a hot day - a huge 3 directional crack occurred.

I have the A+ Glass repair mobile coming to work tomorrow to replace the windshield :(

PS Is it a bad idea to get a windshield replaced when it is over 80F? Just wondering if it will shrink and leak later. Or maybe it is better to do when hot?
