Re: Third Seat Installation Instructions 850 1994

Um...no instructions, but I've BTDT just recently. So, you can email me for questions. It took me about 4 hours along with some phone help from the guy from whom I bought it.

There are DEFINITELY lots of parts. Probably the best thing to do is to drop by a dealer and see if they've got one on the used lot you can gander at.

The one thing I had trouble with was installing the bezel that goes into the 2nd row seatback. You have to cut away much more carpet than I was initially comfortable doing; basically, if you can't see metal all the way around, then you need to cut more! Then, the thing just inserts, and you slide it up. When you slide it up, it locks into place. Now everything's groovy!

One thing to note is that since the seats are already attached to the boards, your installation is shortened (mine came that way, too). However, the lock that's in the rearmost section will no longer work unless you're just dumb lucky; you'll have to transplant that from the old one if you care (I didn't).

Good luck!
