BAY13 said to use alignment tool from Volvo for PNP switch 850 1994turbo

Do any one every replace the PNP switch without this aligment tool from volvo that Bay13 show ?? I ask my local volvo shop the man said I don't need one to do the job..

they said just line it up... the center shaft on the PNP switch..

Just like to know any one have done without this tool and without any problem... ?

any detail that I need to know
