Re: check engine light 850 1996

Your check engine light doesn't necesarily mean there is anything wrong with your engine. What it indicates is a malfunction in the emmission control system. I don't have the reset codes in front of me right now but I will send them to you ASAP. What you will have to do is read the fault code from the diagnostic box and it will tell you exactly what is wrong. It should not be a big deal...the worst thing it probably is could be a faulty flame trap ($40.00) or O2 sensor ($125.00) both of which you can easily replace yourself.
