Service Interval Reminder reset V70-XC70 2001

I had scanned this board for instructions on resetting the SIR (or srl) but could not find info on the 2001 V70/S60/S80 series.

1) hold in odometer reset

2) turn ignition to position II (on)

3) wait until service light flashes

4) release odometer reset while flashing

5) turn ingition off

I found that the light will flash about 4-5 times. If you hold the odo reset until the light returns to steady, you will have to start over.

I had the radio on and did not have enough hands to turn it off, so I don't know if there is a beep to confirm the reset. So maybe some one could try the reset with the radio off and see if there is a beep to confirm the reset.
