Brake chatter S40-V40 2001

I just replaced the front rotors and pads on my 2001 V40 and now have some brake chatter that was not there before. The stopping power is fine but the chatter is very annoying. I have read on other forums that this may be caused by the pads not yet seating properly to the rotors and to give it some time and it may resolve itself. Any thoughts on the matter would be appreciated. Thanks.
