Actually, the best performing European brand right now is VW. Not only they sell the largest volume but they have had the highest increase during the last 6 years.

Alfa? Perhaps but don't count on it for the next 4-5 years. Rumor has it that Peugeot is actively seeking a re-entry into the US market. Perhaps they have learned from their past mistakes.
