Re: Sorry, but you believed wrong. ... S70 1998

Brian M,

ONE ADVICE FOR YOU - DON'T TOUCH THE ACURA 3.2TL TYPE-S !

Acura and its owners ( 3.2TL ) know very well about this problem, but no one else. The sedan's transmission has a major problem !

My uncle formally had a 2000 Acura 3.2TL sedan. His sedan went back to the dealership for the same transmission problem so many times that he

finally gave up with the car - traded it for a 2001 BMW 330i less than

6 months of ownering the Acura.

So ... I thought Acura would fixed the problem for 2001 and 2002, right ? -

wrong ! ... Three months ago, one of my friends brought an Acura 3.2CL

Type-S ( same transmission as your 3.2TL Type-S ). He too had so much

problem during his 3-mths ownership that last week, he traded it for a

BMW 330Ci.

If you are thinking about the Acura 3.2TL Type-S, go with the '02 Infiniti I35 ! ... It is a very nice sedan ! ... I recently took a 2001 I30t for a

test-drive, while my Pathfinder SE was getting its 6,000KM oil change and service done. The next choice would be the '02 Lexus ES300 ! ... a really nice luxury sedan !

Hope that you listen to this advice ....
