Coolant leak, once a week in average, when is cold V70-XC70

While the gray cap will lower the pressure, it will raise the coolant temperature.
I suggest taking off the air guide under the engine to better determine where the leak is coming from. The 1993-99 models only have 2 10mm bolts holding it on, just watch out for the temperature sensor on the right hand side. I re-routed the sensor and glued it into the small grill in the bumper to match the one on the left hand side (left hand drive).
Your problem just might be the cap itself, they do tend to develop leaks after 10 years.
