Front Seats C70

Having a two door can be a PITA, when things go wrong. I started with a passenger seat that would not release (to get people in or out of the back seat). After a look /see at this; I could see that the release cable on one side was broken.

I managed to tie that cable up into the open or release position on that side. I pulled on the release handle(on the edge of the backrest) and everything appeared to be working again.
I then assembled the seat and tried the release strap and then the seat-back broke falling loose and now will not even stay upright.

WOULD ANYONE HAVE A DRAWING OF HOW THE SEAT IS SETUP AT THE RELEASE HINGE?.

I have noticed that the shaft(at the hinge) has moved to the right and that the teeth do not line up any more.

Any help is 'Very' much appreciated
