I see what you mean now.

I think you're correct - take all the plugs out to do the compression tests on each cylinder, then put them all back when you're done testing. Leave them all out the whole time.

And disconnecting the power to the injectors will accomplish the same thing as disconnecting the fuel pump for you. I do think there is a relay controlling the, but you don't need to find it for this.
