850 oil smell in cabin 850 1994

My 1994 850T recently had the evaporater replaced by my local shop. Air conditioning works greate but I had a strong smell of engine oil (not burnt) immediately after getting car back. The smell has lessened somewhat but still there. I brought it back and the shop washed engine and repaired the dipstick leak and a axle seal leak. The smell is still there. I added some ultraviolet dye to the engine oil and found a slight leak at the rear main seal. Car leaks very little oil at this point . My question is if the fresh air enters from the cowl area where is the oil leak smell coming from? Is there a gasket for the cabin air. I do not believe this model/year has a cabin filter.
