Which winter tire is better ? Blizzak WS-50 or/ Arctic-Alpin ALL 1998

Hi,

I am thinking about buying 2 winter tires for the front of my '98 Volvo

S70 GLE.

After reading the reviews of a couple of 1998 S70 owners who post their feedbacks, I have narrowed down to the following 2 tires:

1) Michelin Arctic-Alpin

2) Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50

Which of these two winter tires is better ? ... The main factors for me are ( Most important to least important ) :

1) How good is the traction in the snow & on ice ?

2) Braking

3) Price

I don't care about its speed rating nor its handling abilities ! .... I

travels less than 50 km/hr when it REALLY snows and on ice ! and I leave

the aggressive driving to the summer only !

Thanks,

Kenny
