AWD chewing tires V70-XC70 2000

I think I saw some similar posts with regards to the front tires outer edges being chewed up in no time a while ago, but I can't find anything in the archives so let's try this again.

I've done an alignment on my '00 XC this past spring, did a rotation in the middle of the summer and now noticed that the front tires' outer edges are getting chewed up pretty bad. I religiously keep the tires inflated around 34psi, verification done every week. What are you AWD owners have done to solve this problem? It looks like I'm on Volvo's spec. but I wonder if the numbers are right. Should I opt for a positive camber setting in this case?

Please advise.

Thanks!
