Noise after using shift overide button 850

I returned home after three 95 degree days to find my 96 850 SR drive shift stuck. I used shift overide button which solved problem, but a noise started under hood. It goes away after shifting into reverse or drive, but returns in neutral. Also, turn signal, electric windows, A/C and other electrical functions are not working. Shift lock is necessary each time I start car and electrical functions have not returned.
