HID Headlights in S60? S60 2002

I am considering buying a new S60 AWD. I test drove it today after trying out the Audi A4, and prefer the S60 in most respects. One thing I do like on the Audi are the Xenon headlights; they do provide better visibility. I have read that Volvo intends to provide them as an option later in the model year, but the salesman I spoke to said that was not true. Does anyone have any reliable information on this?
