Brake lights S60

Bert Bert Bert...
Don't do that.. don't talk that way. Please.

As a safety issue, brake lights are not tied to the ignition.. they are always on if the pedal is depressed and battery connected. So, that should lead you to the problem. Either the pedal is depressed, or the switch thinks the pedal is depressed.

Myself being one who drives his old JUNK into the ground, I don't know exactly how the fancy new Volvos work, but I expect its simple enough. Do look into it and get it fixed, as it is a safety issue. Brake lights on all the time are no better than no brake lights at all.

Best of luck in all your endeavors!
