Loosening pipe behind EGR valve 850 1994

Take the opportunity to clean the EGR very well, and check if it is operating as it should. Check the vacumm diaphragm to see if it works, and check the valve itself. If there is no vacumm on the diaphragm, nothing should pass thru the valve itself. Unfortunately, it is not very uncommon for these valves to leak after clean up, after all they operate under very harsh conditions. The carbon build up sometimes compensates for an eroded seal, thus the leak after the clean up.
Good luck!
