Suspension knock 850 1995

I have a 1995 855T and have a question about a knocking sound that can be heard from the rear seats and can be felt on the floorboard behind the drivers seat. Consumer report also indicates that the 850s have "a stiff, jiggly ride", but it seems that it can be fixed or minimized. I’ve checked bushings for cracks or tares and have found nothing. I ordered some bump stop clips for the rear shocks and they will get here soon. Before I spend money on shocks, bushings, etc, I wanted to know if the problem is inherent to 850s (I’ve owned a 1977 245, 1990 and 91 745T’s in ’99-01 and they had much better rides with much older stock equipment). If the problem is not inherent to 850s can it be fixed for less than a few hundred bucks.
