Does the ECC control panel pop out? 850 1996

I hate to jump into this thread so late, but here goes:

I have removed my "A" Pillar covers many times. I usually begin in the middle and work toward the ends, almost always toward the dash. The first time you remove it, it is a bit daunting, as you are sure that you will break a huge piece of Volvo moulded plastic = $$$$.

Once you have removed the cover from a few of the clips, your confidence will increase, and you will be popping them off like a tech at the dealership.

Reinstallation is equally simple. Just make sure that all wires are secured and clear, then line up the cover and press gently until it seats. I usually begin reinstallation at one end (normally the "B" Pillar) and work toward the other end to ensure proper alignment.

You can do it.
