AC woes (con't) V70-XC70 1998

The "normal" failure is the evaporator, which requires the entire dash removal. About 10 hours of book time to R&R. Very expensive.

Check the accumulator/dryer cannister for corrosion. If you added a yellow dye the last time, a wipe with a paper towel will confirm a leak.

When was the cabin filter last changed? Volvo suggests replacement every 12 months.
