Disc Brake Pad Replacement 850 1995

I can concur that the brakes on this car are just as easy as the brakes on my old 1986 760.

Be warned though : as soon as I took the calipers off and started bending the flex lines a little the rubber started cracking. All four wheels. They are a pain to replace too because the fittings to the metal section of the lines are corroded badly and frozen stuck. The flare nuts are only soft brass so as soon as you put any real pressure on them the hex heads round off.

I needed to splice in a new section of steel line using union fitting at each wheel. If you're not comfortable with this you might get a shop to do this part.

I'd recommend going with stainless steel braided flex line. It /is/ twice as expensive as going with the regular rubber lines, but they're only ~$20 from FCP. (rubbers are ~$10)
