Opinions Wanted on Cheap HID's 850

As many of you are aware, I'm not a big fan of HID's, especially when used on lighting fixtures designed for halogen bulbs.

However, I am in a position to acquire a 9006 HID upgrade at a great price, and though I don't feel like being reckless towards others at night, sometimes, I do wish I had brighter head lights.

I basically just want some feedback on what others would do in my position.
