chad, your mechanic prolly overfilled at the last oil change. happened to me too. i was wondering hw after each time i "boosted" and left the car parked overnite, there wd be a small puddle of oil on the floor.

my engine oil level was some 5mm above max.

no repairs, just changed oil again, early, and ENSURED it was between Mmin n max.

andrew, if your car's a turbo, and this happens only after driving under boost, there's the answer described above.
