How bad is the leak? I have a 1996 850 Turbo that was leaking and a friend added a few drops of brake fluid to the master cylinder.

My steering rack no longer leaks,even a drop and it has been many months.

My friend cautioned me that adding more than a few drops of brake fluid can make the leak worse, so you need to be careful. I don't know if this will help you, but it worked for me. Fred.
