1998 s70 near stall S70

The other day during a driving rain storm, my s70 came to a near stall.. the rpms, went from normal to 300..this was while hitting the accelerator like no tommorrow.. this happened a few more times. At the time it was raining very hard and had been for a while, hard enough that water could splash into the engine. It has not happened since.
