Dash rattle 850 1997

Common cause for dash rattle in an 850 is a broken plastic tab that mounts the entire dashboard to the firewall. There are four bolts, accessible from under the cowling/windshield wipers and their corresponding mounts in the dash itself break off. Especially if you've ever had your evaporator replaced, as this plastic breaks with any sort of exercise. You could removed the dash top again and inspect. Repair would involve some messy epoxy, I'm sure.
