need ac/heater blower help 850 1993

I have 3 rotary knobs, the one on the left and right control temperature in degrees, the middle dial selects where the air will blow from like defrost, dash vents, or floor etc. The middle dial also has a position for auto, which when trying to get the system to work I have not left it in auto although I have said lets see if it will since nothing else works. Under these 3 dials is a sliding fan speed control. If it is pushed to the extreme left, that is auto speed, and then moving to the right is supposed to increase the speed up to max when the slider moves as far as it can go that way.
I have not warmed the engine up, but will try that. I did start the car briefly for a few minutes but no effect. I'll pull the codes again tomorrow. Where would the wires be burnt, behind the ECC? Looking in from the glovebox opening everything looks pristine. Does it matter that I have not put the fan back into the hole it came from? I have just been holding it while testing down on the passenger side floor. Maybe it needs to go back, I just thought I could monitor the speed better seeing it.
How can I change the clock by the odometer to read in 12hr format instead of a 24hr clock? And how can I change celcius to farenheight? Thanks!!
