1996 855 Platinum Edition 850 1996

Greetings
After owning around a dozen Volvos of the 240/740/940 series, I finally made the plunge into FWD ownership when I came across a gorgeous 1996 855 Platinum Edition in great shape. Wow, this car can move and handles very well. Needless to say I have been doing alot of research and trying to brush up on what I can expect as far as maintenance. If anybody has any info on this particular Volvo I would love to hear from you. The information I was able to find online is fairly limited. From what I understand there were only 1500 imported into the US. The Platinum wagons must be even more rare as I've actually only seen one other Platinum and it was a sedan. They only came in the iridescent pearl paint, with walnut dash, and special 16" rims. I also read that they came with the T-5 setup from the previous 1995 generation. It surely seems to have more HP than the standard 850 turbo- although again I am not certain.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Also, does anybody know why it is also referred to as the "TLA" model?
