I agree. Most of these new "tiptronic" style automatics are really just marketing hype - gizmos that raise manufacturer profits. No die-hard row-it-yourself driver would ever succumb to one of these things. If you want to pose, get a tiptronic, if you want the real deal, get the proper setup - a shifter AND clutch. Unless, of course, you have unlimited money, then by all means help yourself to that awesome automatic clutch & paddle shifter setup on those new Ferraris.
