Dual hood latch not releasing on one side. V70-XC70 1998

Greetings,

When I pop my hood release, the driver's side latch does not release unless I have someone applying pressure to that side. I've looked for rubber bumpers that one could adjust height-wise, but I got nothin'. The only possibility I can see is to adjust the latch assembly because it does look like it's able to be moved up or down.

It looks like what happened is that some numbnuts pushed the hood down from one side and may have warped it a tiny bit.

Anyone have any experience/solutions for this? Thanks much.
