Re: Brake Bleeding S70 1999

Update: I just had the new pads installed in the front. Also re-bleed the system and got air from the rear. Pedal is now excellent. My local dealer wanted $451 plus tax for the 30,000 mile service. I did the plugs, cabin filter and air filter myself. Independent shop (ex Volvo Tech) did the oil, oil filter and brake fluid flush. Total expense for the 30K service approx $120. He suggested that front pads were due to be replaced. Charged 1 hour labor ($55) plus Volvo pads ($56) plus tax. No extra charge for the anti seize/anti squeal grease.

I like the service I get from my local dealer. I just don't like their prices.
