I think I am holding a Nivomat rear shock 850 1995

I bought a set of used stock struts/shocks from a guy up north. The struts went in fine but the rear ones he sent me are much thicker than my stock shocks. They are also much harder to compress. They have a dustboot all the way down. Are these the Nivomat shocks? Will they kill my ride quality?
